Ronald Fredrick King, 77, of Fountaintown, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on Sept. 28, 1936, the son of Irvine King and Ellen (Pierpont) Morris. Ronald graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1954. Mr. King served in the National Guard. He married JoAnne (Stanley) King on November 5, 1984.

Ronald was an entrepreneur. He was the owner and operator for R.F. King and Co. Mechanical Contractors, A-1 Ready-Rooter, and Best Home Inspections. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed fishing, boating and bowling.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 29 years, JoAnne; children, Todd (Connie) King of Lebanon, Lori (Robert) Nelson of Jamestown, Debra (Michael) Gastineau of Carmel, Angela King-Katopodis of Fishers, Jill (Derric) McFarland of Fortville; three stepsons, Randy (Karin) Kleiman of New Palestine, Chris (Daleen) Kleiman of Fountaintown, and Mike (Missy) Kleiman of Shelbyville; 20 grandchildren; five great -grandchildren; brothers, Richard King and Russell King; sister, Rosemary Thurston; and former wife, Mary Beth Easley.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ruth Curry.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield with visitation beginning at Noon prior to the service. Pastor Ken Collins will be officiating.
