Gary Lee Fox, 67, Knightstown, passed away Dec. 7, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield after a sudden illness. He was born April 28, 1946, in Anderson.
He graduated in 1964, from Anderson High School, and lived in Anderson area all of his life. He retired in 2000 from AG One CO-OP after 36 years. Gary was a member of Knights of Pythias Crescent Lodge #33 of New Castle and Pendleton Masonic Lodge #44.
Gary’s number one love was his family and spending time with them. He never met a stranger in life. He was an avid woodworker, and loved to attend auctions and flea markets. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Tina Fox of Knightstown; two sons, Niles G. Fox of New Castle and Randal L. (Carrie) Fox of Knightstown; twin daughters, Cindy Fox and Wendy Otto, both of Anderson; three grandchildren, Ashton Fox, Braydon Fox and Kylee Fox; brother, Dave (Myrna) Fox of Alexandria; sister, Jan (Don) Malston of Alexandria; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cary and Eileen Fox; and brothers, Richard and Ronnie Fox.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be at 7 p.m. conducted by Pendleton Masonic Lodge. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Brown- Butz- Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory with Rev. Barry Humble officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
