Carl C. Clark

Carl C. Clark, 70, of Coal City, Ind., passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at I.U. Health, Bloomington, Ind. Carl was born April 3, 1943, in London, Ky. to the late Earl and Maggie (Trosper) Clark.

Carl served in the Army during the Vietnam Theater. He married Shirley (Kirkwood) Clark on June 26, 1993, in Indianapolis, and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1999. He loved gardening, traveling and was a member of the UAW Local #111.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of Coal City, Ind.; sons, Tony (Brenda) Clark and Lloyd (Barb) Clark, all of Ky., and Stephen Farber of Coal City; daughters, Karla (Bennie) Morgan of Ky., Laurie (Jeff) Kissee of Coal City and Cathy (Randy) Estep of Worthington, Ind.; brothers, Curtis (Carrolyn) Clark, Bradley Clark, Kenneth (Glenda) Clark, Marvin (Colleen) Clark and Eddie (Allisha) Clark; sisters, Madeline (Earl) Engle and Freda (Ervin) Taylor; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Earl Clark, Wayne Clark and Paul Clark.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
