Anna Mae (White) Pescitelli, 89, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Brandywine Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 25, 1923, she was the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Borne) White.
Anna was a graduate of Goodfield High School, Goodfield, Ill. She was a teacher and then a homemaker. She was also a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. A. Richard Pescitelli of Ft. Myers, Fla.; Philip D. (Barb) Pescitelli of Greenfield; sister, Mary Underwood of Metamore, Ill.; grandchildren, Mary, Vicki, Catherine, Douglas, Dominic, Laura, Richard; three great- grandchildren and one due in January.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Al Pescitelli, whom she married on June 12, 1948; brothers, Lewis White and Charles White; and sisters, Catherine Donovan and Dorothy Kamp.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Greenfield. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church. Entombment will follow at 1 p.m. CST, Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Peoria, Ill., with local visitation one hour prior to committal at the cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN.
