Leona Mae (Kiphart) Price, 90, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born on April 30, 1923, in Pendleton as the daughter of Ben and Lillie Belle (Milner) Kiphart.
She graduated from Pendleton High School. Mrs. Price received her Christian Education License from Indiana Baptist College in 1975.
She was a co-owner of Price Jewelry in Fortville. Leona was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Alan) Ward and Debbie (Gregg) Wilson both of Greenfield; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Price; brothers, James Kiphart and Fred Kiphart; sister, Iva Kiphart; and son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jodi Price.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Randall Parker will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery in Pendleton.
