Lottie May (Johnson) McCorkle, 92, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 3, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield. She was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Hancock Co., the daughter of the late Forest and Lulu May (Carlton) Johnson.

Lottie retired from the U. S. Postal service in 1985 and worked at the Willow Branch Bank, was a member of the Willow Branch United Methodist Church in Willow Branch and the U. M.C. Women’s Society. She served in the church for many years in different capacities.

Survivors include daughters, Joyce (Bill) Hayden of Danville, Wilma (Michael) Bauer of Carmel, Mary Catherine (Dean) Bardonner of Noblesville; son, Marc (Gloria) McCorkle of Greenfield; sister, Hazel Garrett of Greenfield; 11grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; one great- great- grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George McCorkle; sister, Mary Anna Baker; brothers, Paul Johnson and Melvin Johnson.

Friends called from 4- 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Condo and Son funeral home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Willow Branch United Methodist Church in Willow Branch with Donna Ward, Judy Purvis and Andrew Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
