Griffie Lee Allen, 92, of Indianapolis, Friday, Oct. 4, 2013. He was born May 15, 1921, in Monroe County, Ky., to the late James & Hattie (Reed) Allen. He served in the Army.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Allen, Terry Allen, Darrell Allen all of Indianapolis; daughter, Linda (Michael) Miller of Greenfield, six grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above; wife, Betty Allen in 2008; son, Michael Allen; two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Noon on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard.
