Janet Mildred (Sturgeon) Livingston,
Janet Mildred (Sturgeon) Livingston, 84, a long time Knightstown resident, went to be with the lord Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in Muncie, Ind. Janet was born in Cleves, Ohio, on Feb. 14, 1929, to the late George Thomas and Myrtle (Gindle) Sturgeon.
She worked at Chrysler for many years. Janet was a member of the New Castle and Knightstown American Legion posts.
Janet will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Jazmin Livingston, Teresa Grider and Donna (Eddie) Shelton; her two sons, Tony Bovard and Jerry (Nancy) Livingston; sister, Sonja (Louie “Buck”) McDarment; 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Shauna, Brian and Michael Livingston, Kasey Clapp, Derek and Michael Shelton, Emily Richards, Jamey Livingston, Tina Jones, Bryceton Cheesman and Arianna Livingston; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Livingston; a son, Gary Livingston; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends are welcome to visit from 1 – 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, with funeral services immediately following at 3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Care, Knightstown. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
