Carter Earnest Smith, infant, of Morristown passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was the son of Bret A. and Elizabeth L. (Deeter) Smith.
Surviving him are his loving parents; grandparents, Beth Smith of Morristown, Gary and Cynthia Deeter of Indianapolis; great-grandmother, Clister N. Smith of Tenn.; and aunts and uncles, Linda Chase of Indianapolis, Susan Evans of Indianapolis, Jenny Deeter of Indianapolis, Jennah Smith of Indianapolis, Joshua and Rachel Smith of Morristown, and Jo Ganzel of Indianapolis.
Carter was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rodney A. Smith and uncle, Stephen Deeter.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Pastor Barbara Dahl will be officiating. Arrangements were handled with Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield.
