Rylee Ann Fanning was an inspirational child who touched everyone she met. On Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, her long battle with a rare pediatric cancer ended at the tender age of 2 1/2. She passed peacefully in her mother’s arms at her home in Issaquah, Wash.

Rylee was an extremely brave child who never feared her treatments or stays in the hospital. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and light up a room regardless of the incredibly trying circumstances. Rylee enjoyed watching SpongeBob and Mickey Mouse, visiting the animals at the zoo, car rides, taking naps in her wagon, and generally being outside.

Rylee is survived by her parents, Mike and Stephanie Fanning; her grandparents, Mary Jo and Larry Fanning, Steve and Cyndi Snider, Linda and Steve Hullett; great -grandmother, Thelma Renfro; aunts and uncles, Laura and Rick Hassman, and Leigh, Kristin and Paige Hullett; cousins, Haley and Dylan Hassman.

Rylee is also the granddaughter of the late Theresa Snider and niece to Heather Snider.

Rylee will be sorely missed, but her beautiful smile and personality will live in eternity through those who loved her and knew her best.

A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at the Wilkinson Church of Christ, 7293 N. State Rd. 109 Wilkinson, IN 46186, which will include a dinner.
