Marcia L. (Bogue) Byrnes
Marcia L. (Bogue) Byrnes, 70, of Morristown, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born May 12, 1943, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Donald M. and Nadine (Tinsley) Bogue.
She graduated from Morristown High School in 1961. She married Max E. Byrnes on June 18, 1961, and they were happily married for 52 years.
She worked as a homemaker her entire life. Marcia was a member of Little Blue River Friends Church of Morristown and also the First Church of the Nazarene of Greenfield.
Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Max; mother, Nadine of Morristown; son, Brian E. (Kelly) Byrnes of Morristown; daughter, Tammie L. (Marvin) Jones of Morristown; brother, Scott (Norma) Bogue of Morristown; sisters, Darlene (Gary) Nebel of Gwynneville, Karen Slinker of Indianapolis and Glenda (Gary) Manor of New Castle; five grandchildren, Courtney, Megan, Brice, Kevin and Samuel; two great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Anessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marcia is preceded in death were her father, Donald; and infants, Kenneth W. Byrnes and Kevin D. Byrnes.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at Little Blue River Friends Church in Morristown. Pastor Peggy Caldwell and Pastor Donald Brewer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Morristown.
