Louella Mitchell Hanes, 94, of Indianapolis, died Aug. 22, 2013. She was born in Missouri, Nov. 14, 1918, to Lennie Elva Davis.
Louella is survived by her son, Harold Sidney Hanes; daughters, Mary Lee and Loretta Ann Shaw; stepsister, Jewel Dean Cooprider; eight grandchildren and 15 great -grandchildren.
Louella was preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Hanes; and her son, Charles Russell Hanes.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland and the funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, also at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland, with burial at New Palestine cemetery.
