Dan Ray Harris
Dan Ray Harris, 69, Brownsburg, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 19, 1944, in Indianapolis, the son of Oliver Carvin and Ruth (Bentley) Harris.
Surviving Dan are his wife, Sandy Harris of Brownsburg; children, Lauri (Mark) Shannon of Shelbyville, Melissa (Jimmie) Woolard of Gainesville, Fla., Brian Ray Harris of Whiteland, and Jeremy Dale (Sara) Harris of Franklin; seven grandchildren; brother, Dale (Bonnie) Harris of Fairland; sister, Linda Johnson of Morristown; brothers-in-law, Larry (Karen) Dayvolt and Terry (Susie) Dayvolt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Bradley Ray Harris; and brother-in-law, Duane Johnson.
Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2013, also at the mortuary. Jerry Adamson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fountaintown Cemetery in Fountaintown.
