Juanda D. Rose
Juanda D. Rose, 68, Knightstown, passed away August 14, 2013. She was born on November 28, 1944, the daughter of Henry and Jewell Barnes.
Juanda was President and Owner of JDR Consulting firm; a member of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary Post #152, and UAW Local 898 Rawsonville, Mich., and a leader at Bible Study Fellowship in New Castle. She cherished her family and loved family get together’s most of all. Juanda had a remarkable way of making people feel special.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip “Buddy” Rose of Knightstown; son, Arthur R. (Beth) Rose of Louisville, Ky.; daughter, Amy D. (Bob) Ellis of Greenfield; grandchildren, Antonia Rose, Clayton Roland, Corey Roland, and Caleb Roland; great-granddaughters, Rilee Roland, Annabelle Rose; sister, Carol (Bill) Charles of Spiceland; an uncle, Phillip Barnes of New Castle; and several nieces and nephews.
Juanda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Sharon Smith.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Funeral services for Juanda will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at the funeral home, with additional viewing from 10 -11 a.m. Monday prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Glen Cove Cemetery with Richard Thayer presiding.
