Lewis C. Bower
Lewis C. Bower, 92, Fortville, passed away on August 13, 2013. He was born October 3, 1920, to the late Arthur and Goldie Bower.
Lewis retired in 1971 from the Army after 27 years of service as a Lt. Colonel. He was a member of the Fortville Christian Church and the Fortville Lions Club. He was also an avid card player and never lost a card game!!
Lewis is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Don) Harrison, Lisa Hunt (friend Mike), Ruth Plamandon, Taffy (Bill) Ergle; grandchildren, Stacy Holliday, Shawna Montgomery, Adam White, Brittani Abel, Cory Horseman, Jodi, Janelle, David, and Shawna Lea; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Cassadi, Brad, Brynn and Ava.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Garnet Bower; and daughter, Becky Bower.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel, 9288 W. 1025 S. Fortville, Ind. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Gravel Lawn Cemetery Chapel.
