Rosalie A. (Harold) Settle
Rosalie A. (Harold) Settle, 75, of Fortville, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013. She was born March 31, 1938, to the late Russell and Laura (Burres) Harold.
Rosalie worked as an executive secretary for Western Electric and AT&T for 30 years, retiring in 1993. She was a devoted volunteer for the Special Olympics and Telephone Pioneers of America. She loved animals and was a talented seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John W. Settle of Fortville; sisters, Debbie (Robert) Goodman of Huntingburg; Priscilla (Larry) Wilson of Seymour; and Marguerite “Midge” (Larry) Robertson of Noblesville; special friends and caretakers Ron and Bev Hardesty, Terrie McDaniel, Jeanne Childers, Jennifer Smith and Judy Kendrix; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Joe Harold; and niece, Vicky Lynn Robertson.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 14, 2013, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, with a memorial service immediately following at 10:30 a.m.
