Greta R. Parks
Greta Parks, 78, New Palestine, passed away Aug. 5, 2013, at her home. Greta was born December 7, 1934, in Alsey, Ill. to Russell and Mary Ruth (Wallace) Summers.
Ms. Parks was an Administrative Assistant for JennAir Maytag for 25 years and then continued on with other companies.
She is survived by her son, Michael Parks; granddaughter, Jacquelyn Parks; sister, Linda Gibson; brother-in-law, Gale Dixon; and several neices, nephews, and cousins.
Ms. Parks was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Betty Dixon and Barbara Bown.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013, at Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, Ind., 46163. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Mackey Daws Funeral Home, 101 S. McDonald St., Murrayville, IL 62668. Burial will follow at Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Ill.
