Martha Lou King
Martha Lou King, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away July 30, 2013, at Community North Hospital. She was born October 30, 1941, to the late Ernest Ray and Fern (Fiscus) Landis.
Martha was a 1959 graduate of Switz City Central High School. She was employed by Indiana Insurance/Liberty Mutual for 43 years, retiring in 2002.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Carla (Phil) Kinder of Greenfield; granddaughter, Meghan D. Killian of Greenfield; her brother, William R. (Terry) Landis of Greenfield; sisters, Ella Rose Bredeweg of Linton, Ind., and Carol E. (Don) Sparks of O’Fallon, Ill.; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris J. Root and Lillis J. Drass; and brother, Ernest R. Landis, Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
