Robert “Bob”Tague

Robert “Bob”Tague, 67, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at I.U. Health- Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born March 12, 1946, the son of C. Marshall and Evelyn (Barrett) Tague.

Bob graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1964. He helped his dad farm from the time he was 8 years old and could reach the tractor pedals. After graduation, he joined the National Guard, serving 6 years. He then worked for Eli Lilly in Greenfield for 35 years, retiring December 31 2002.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Tara (Butler) Tague; daughters, Erin (Derek) Thomas of Carmel and Elizabeth (Greg) Crabtree of Indianapolis; father, C. Marshall Tague of Greenfield; father-in-law, Robert  Butler of Lakeland, Fla.; three grandchildren, Ireland Grace Crabtree, Reagan Olivia Crabtree and Alex Thomas; and sister, Linda (George Jones) Bell, of the Villages, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn (Barrett) Tague.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, Indiana.
