Bobbie Lou (Messer) Johnson, 82, of Ingalls, died Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born June 29, 1931, to the late James Allen Messer and Lana Agnes (May) Messer in Morehead, Ky.
She is survived by a son, Dennis (Melanie) Johnson of Ingalls; a daughter, Sally Cowles of Anderson; her granddaughter and caretaker, Amanda (Joe) Collins of Ingalls; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elnor (Earl) Jesse of Seymour; and a brother, Leonard (Ann) Messer of Knox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Theodore Harrison Johnson; sons, Wendell R. Jonson and Tracey A. Johnson; grandson, Dustin W. Johnson; and son-in-law, Bob Cowles.
Friends may call from 10 -11 a.m. on Saturday July 6, 2013, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville; with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
