David B. "Dave" King, 46, of Shelbyville, formerly of Morristown, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was born Oct. 11, 1966, in Beech Grove, to Earl Robert and Doris "Jean" (Huff) King. He married Vergie M. Holder on Oct. 12, 1996, and she survives.
He is also survived by his brother, Jeff (Karla) King of Shelbyville; sister, Kristin "Kris" King of Hobart; a nephew; niece; and great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
