Frances (Cook) Kissel
Frances (Cook) Kissel, 92, of Franklin, formerly of New Palestine, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin. She was born on July 13, 1920, in Greenfield, the daughter of Carl D. and Nancy A. (Bussell) Cook.
Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn (Keith) Bowers of Brazil, Ind., Joyce (Mark) Harper of Franklin, Carol Davis of Danville, and Donna Martin of Indianapolis; son, Bob (Francia) Kissel of New Palestine; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Kasper King Kissel; parents; brother, Max Cook; and sister, Edith Weber.
Visitation will be from 12 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, with funeral services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. Reverend John Eley will be officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
