Charles "Chuck" E. Dunaway

Charles "Chuck" E. Dunaway, 81, of Farina, Ill., formerly of New Palestine, departed Earth for God's eternal care on June 14, 2013. The son of Lain and Effie Dunaway, he was born in Beecher City, Ill. and attended St. Elmo High School.

He served in the Army and lived the majority of his life in New Palestine, where he was a successful businessman and engaged member of Zion Lutheran church and the community.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann; his daughters, Debra (Robert) Allena and Cynthia (Steve) Edwards; his sons, Mark and Andrew; his sisters, Betty Feezel and Kathleen Wren; his brother, Jim Dunaway;  four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; and his brother, William.

Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, Carrollton. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Zion Lutheran Church – 6513 West 300 South, New Palestine, with Pastor Jason Taylor Officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, New Palestine.
