Michael “Mike” Eugene Bloxom
Michael “Mike” Eugene Bloxom, 60, of Greenfield, formerly of Charleston, Ill., passed away June 10, 2013, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis. Michael was born September 19, 1952, in Charleston, the son of Alonzo and Mary (Kirkpatrick) Bloxom.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Angela (James) Walsh of Indianapolis, two grandsons; and sister, Pat Strong of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Shirlene "Shirley" Wheeler; his parents; and step-mother.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m., with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home, 720 Monroe, Charleston, Ill., with Pastor Tom Skinner officiating. Entombment will follow in Mound Cemetery, Charleston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
