Jean H. Voegtle, 92, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, Calif. Jean was born on Feb. 27, 1921, in Providence, Ky., and was one of 4 daughters of the late William Hickman and Bessie Holt.
She spent the last 14 years as a resident at Rossmoor Community Village in Walnut Creek, Calif. Jean was a resident of Greenfield, for over 40 years, where she was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church, Greenfield Country Club, Elks Lodge and Tri Kappa. She was married to Clem Voegtle who preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors are daughter, Paula Griffith, Indianapolis; and son, Bill Voegtle, Danville, Calif.; grandsons, Brad and Scott Griffith; granddaughters, Katie and Bess Voegtle.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Pasco Chapel in Greenfield with a burial at the Park Cemetery.
