James D. Lyons, 66, of Brownstown, Ind., died Tuesday, May 21. Born Dec. 7, 1946, in Gallatin, Tenn., he was the son of Willard Lyons and Oma Mae (Jones) Stuller.
Survivors include three sons, Gayland, Buckston and Halcomb Lyons; one daughter, Mandy (Rickey) Rich of Shelbyville; three sisters, Judy Lyons and Willa Nixon both of Brownstown and Janie (Bob) Branaman of Medora; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Medora Christian Church. A service of remembrance will be held at 1p.m at the church. Cremation will follow services.
