Karen Ann Thomas, 68, of Kennard went to be with Jesus Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 2, 1944, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Charles R. and Verah (Kyser) Glisson.
Karen leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Janette (Kenny) Cullison of Kennard; 1 grandson; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Glisson of Kennard; sister, Melinda (Danny) Tompkins of Kennard; nieces; nephews; aunts, Barbara Kyser of Greenfield; and Mary Carolyn Galliher of Anderson.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Thomas; and grandson, Bryce Cullison.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Hicksite Cemetery in Greensboro. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
