Ruth Elnora Bennett, of Evansville, formerly of Hancock County, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at her daughter's residence. She was born June 3, 1923, to Joseph Oscar and Flora E. (Martin) Apple.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Cobb of Holmesville, Ohio, Frances (Ralph) Frame of Modoc, Lois (Billy) Welden and CoLinda Mosby, both of Evansville; son, Ronnie Bennett of Anderson; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Marvin Bennett; sons, Marnee Wayne Bennett and Marvin Duane Bennett.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Graveside services and interment will be at 3 p.m., Thursday at Asbury Cemetery, with Rev. David Bennett officiating.
