Carl H. Wise, Sr.
Carl H. Wise, Sr., 77, Fortville, died April 22, 2013, at his home. He was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Indianapolis to the late Watt and Katherine (Burgen) Wise.
Carl is survived by his wife Martha H. (Blake) Wise, whom he married Jan. 30, 1973; daughters Tina (Michael) DeWitt of Fairland, Rhonda Goodlet of Ft. Wayne, Linda Hipskind of Indianapolis, Barbara Wise of Indianapolis, Jackie (Dennis) Estep of Avon, Donna (Frank) Dick of Indianapolis, Darlene (Randy) Stoute of Fairland, Marsha Diane Wood of Indianapolis, Leslie Wood of Oxford, N.C.; sons Carl Wise, Jr. (Lydia) of Indianapolis, Steven Elliott of Schofield, Wis., Curtis (Denise Malispino) Wise of Indianapolis, Watt Wise & Family of Clearwater, Fla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother Gene.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home, with burial following at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
