Linda “Kay” Henry
Linda “Kay” Henry, 63, a resident of Shirley, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013. Born August 2, 1949, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Sterle F. and Isabel (Barrett) Van Duyn.
She had worked for many years in the Emergency Department at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Kay was a member of Christ Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Tony Henry of Shirley; a daughter, Angy (companion Shawna Malone) Poindexter of New Castle; a grandson, Darryen Poindexter of Terre Haute; two brothers, Allen (Pat) Van Duyn of Knightstown, and Hal (Cindy) Van Duyn of Wilkinson; two sisters, Jeanette Merriman of Greenfield, and Terry (Rusty) Low of Greenfield; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Jennifer Henry in 1972.
Friends will be received from 4 – 8 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2013, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Eden, Ind.
