C.C. Cochard, 98, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Greenfield, died April 14, 2013. He was born July 11, 1914, in Litchfield, Mich., to Charles Ross and Gertrude (Linhart) Cochard.
C.C. is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Frank) Steele and Carol (Stephen) Pool both of Greenfield; sons, C. David (Linda) Cochard of Union, Mo., Jan (Gwen) Cochard and Brian (Deborah) Cochard both of Greenfield; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; longtime companion,Janiece Eley; her three children and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Cochard, brothers, Willis, DeWitt, Robert, Rex and George; sister, Donna Barker; and grandson, Isaac Cochard.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the funeral home with burial following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
