Lavonne Power Boyer, 100, died April 13, 2013, at Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Milroy. She was born March 6, 1913, near Milroy. Her parents were Emory J. and Ella Spurgeon Power.
Survivors include daughters, Joella Patterson and Louise Beaman, both of Franklin, and Ruth (Phillip) Sparks of Greenfield; 7 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley D. Boyer, whom she married Nov. 29, 1934, he preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1980.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Milroy United Methodist Church. Friends may call two hours before the service. Burial will be at Layton Cemetery near Milroy.
