Jack Arnold, 75, Greenfield, and formerly New Castle, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born March 28, 1938, in Greenfield, the son of the late Milford and Evelyn Arnold.

He worked in Construction Local 1112 of Muncie, for 50 years. He was an avid hunter, and taught his boys how to hunt, fish, and play horse shoes. Jack enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and watching sports.

Survivors include his two sons, Rick (Sandra) Arnold of Geenfield, and Jeff Arnold of Indianapolis; daughter, Kelly Barger of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Katie Diane (Chris) Wright of Trafalgar, Daniel L. Arnold, Matthew Barger, Evan Arnold, all of Indianapolis, and Ashley Arnold of Dayton, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Allie Wright, Dani Wright, Garrett Wright, and Colton Wright; two step-grandchildren, Shawn House of Markleville, and Stacie (Richard) Kramer, of Shirley; six step-great grandchildren, Keegan, Connor, Ashley, Kylie, Kinzie and Caleb.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; wife Julie Arnold in 1999; daughter Kitty Arnold in 2008; two brothers, Jim and Mike Arnold; and sister, Patricia Mikels.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, with services immediately following at 1 p.m., at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Bennett will be officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
