Hubert V. Garland, 71 of Fortville, died April 10, 2013, at Community North Hospital. Born on Sept. 22, 1941, in Mo., he was the son of Lester and Aline (Coffman) Garland. He married Judy K. Campton on June 7, 1964 in McCordsville.
Surviving him are his wife, Judy K. Garland of Fortville; sons, David A. Garland of Fortville, James “Randy” Garland of Indianapolis, Timothy A. (Ashley) Garland of Plainfield, Daniel W. Garland of Fortville; sister, Imogene Mabrey of Pendleton; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several aunts and uncles.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the mortuary. Pastor Conrad Westbrook will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
