Raymond George Inman, 82, of Greenfield, passed away on March 30, 2013. Born on Aug. 8, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Janeral Sampson and Edna (Ratz) Inman.

Raymond worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Local Carpenter’s Union #60 for over 60 years. After retiring in 1992, he worked at Eastern Hancock Elementary. Mr. Inman was also a member of the VFW.

Surviving him are his children, Sherri L. Inman of Zionsville, Todd A. (Katrina) Inman of Greenfield, Carla R. (Brian) Denby of St. Augustine, Fla., and Stephanie Inman of Greenfield; sister, Sandra Perry of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Rodney, Sara, Cain, Devany, Ian, Sean, Devin, and Bella; and great-grandchildren, Gracie, Kaelynn, Lena Bell, and Madison.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Carol Inman; parents; and siblings, Harold Inman, Vivian Martin, Sampson Inman, Robert Inman, Mary Wissman, and Walter Inman.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m.on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the mortuary. Pastor Paul Enyart will be officiating and burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
