Loren F. Clapper, 82, of Indianapolis, died at home in the care of his loving children, into the arms of Jesus on March 27, 2013. He was born June 18, 1930, in New Palestine, to the late Albert and Grace (Phares) Clapper.
He is survived by two sons, Fred (Becky) Clapper, Dennis (Cheryle) Clapper; a daughter, Lorna (Scott) Johnson; nine grandchildren; 13 great -grandchildren; and two great- great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by Elenora Singhurst “Babe”, who he married on Dec. 1, 1951, who passed away in Dec. of 2011; two daughters, Linda Souders, and Sonjia Clapper; six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
