Edward J. Izbicki
Edward J. Izbicki, 62, of New Palestine, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Indianapolis.
Edward was born in Hamtramck, Mich., on Oct. 21, 1950, son of the late Edward Joseph and Irene B. (Zulczyk) Izbicki.
Mr. Izbicki retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 1/2 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the New Palestine American Legion Post #182.
Survivors include his wife; Mechele (Polly) Izbicki; sons; Joseph E. Izbicki, Justin M. Sasser, Edward E. (Michelle) Sasser, all of New Palestine; sister; Helene (Phillip) Crutchfield, Livonia, Mich.; nephews; Matthew and Andrew Crutchfield, of Livonia, Mich.
He was preceded in death by Sister Terese Ann Kiska.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, Fountaintown. The Funeral Service Mass will be at 10 a.m., with 1 hour calling prior to service, on Wednesday, March 27, at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, with Father Bill Stumpf officiating.
