Harry B. Grandison

Harry B. Grandison, age 75, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield. He was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Markleville, the son of the late Paul and Eleanor (Blake) Grandison.

Harry retired from Ford Motor Company after 36 years of service; was an avid horse lover, and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He was a part-time farmer, and he enjoyed watching basketball, football, baseball and coaching his girls softball team.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Bonita (Beatty) Grandison of Knightstown; 4 daughters, Kay “Denny” (Daniel) Bramell of Knightstown, Kelly “Koolie” Fox of Rushville, Kim “Bo Jackson” Grandison of Knightstown, Kerry “Snarebear” Grandison-An of Va.; 6 grandchildren, Kyle Jordan, Joshua Bramell, Dana York, Alyssa Sneed, Gina An, Dean An; 6 great-grandchildren, Rylie Jordan, Dylan Morris, Dallas Bramell, Hadley Bramell, Kalynn Walker, Abi Sneed; 5 sisters, Marilyn (Emory) Reece, Leah McDonald, Paula (Scott) Way, Virginia (Lloyd) Dunaway, Margie (Terry) Adamson; 1 brother, Hugh (Betty) Grandison; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Rusty McDonald; great-niece, Hope McDonald.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., prior to the service at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with Terry Adamson officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
