Virgil “Bunny” Campbell, 79 years, a resident of Wilkinson, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. Born Feb. 21, 1934, in New Castle, Ind., the son of the late Henry and Hattie (Rose) Campbell.
A veteran of the Navy. He retired from Delco-Remy in 1985 and was a member of the Markleville Masonic Lodge #629.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Jeannine (Darling) Campbell of Wilkinson; sons, Steven L. Campbell of Wilkinson, Scott (Kristina) Campbell of Jupiter, Fla., Brian J. Campbell of Wilkinson; 7 grandchildren, Douglas, Marshall, David, Maura, Owen, Colin Campbell and Lauren Kong; and great granddaughter, Hailey Campbell.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with a Masonic Service at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Mair officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery.
