Dorothy "Dottie" M. (Martin) Tippins
Dorothy “Dottie” M. (Martin) Tippins, age 84, of Greenfield, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. Born Feb. 4, 1929 in Julesburg Colorado, she was the daughter of Lester and Arilla (Clayton) Martin. Dottie was married to Neil B. Placek, Fulton H. Tippins and Jim Erwin.
Surviving are her son, Bruce M. (Karen) Placek of Greenfield; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Nadine; and son, Steward E. Placek.
Memorial services will be Tuesday Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Mount Vernon Mausoleum in Washington Park East.
