Geraldine "Jerri" (Sandlin) Mullins
Geraldine “Jerri” (Sandlin) Mullins, 82, a life-long resident of Greenfield, passed away Feb. 21, 2013, after a long illness. She was born May 23, 1930, in Whitesburg, Ky. to the late Harvey & Polly (Woods) Sandlin.
She moved to Greenfield in 1955, following the marriage of her late husband Mass Mullins where they lived and raised their family.
A devoted mother not just to her own children, but also to many others throughout her life who needed to be protected and cared for. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
She is survived by her four children, Donald M. Mullins, Timothy W. Mullins, Debra J. Runion (Mullins) and Tonya F. Theobald (Mullins); two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Marie, Ruth, Gertrude, Mary, Lydia, Virginia, Fay and Emma, from various regions of the U.S.
She was preceded in death by her 4 siblings Sid Sandlin, Dorothy (Adams) Sandlin, Pauline Sandlin and William Sandlin.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, in Carrollton, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. with procession and graveside committal following the service. Pastor Larry Herd will be officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Church Cemetery, U.S. 40, Philadelphia, Ind.
