Cleston F. Howard (Calhoun), 79, of Greenfield, died on Feb. 16, 2013. He was born June 21, 1933, to Alvy and Delphe (Rich) Howard in Tompkinsville, KY. He was an Army Veteran serving 1951 to 1953.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Dorothy Moneymaker; sons, Gregory Howard and Geoffrey Howard; daughter, Donna (Jay) Wilson; sisters, Dorothy Keys, Talega Doolin, Nina Downing, Juanita (Amos) Scott; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory Shangrila Chapel, Carrollton, Ind. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, beginning with visitation at 10:30 am and services immediately following at 1:30 p.m., Strodes Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, KY. Burial in Gamaliel, KY.
