Donnie Eagle Blakley, 57, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2013, at the I.U. Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis. He was born on Feb. 15, 1955, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Sol and Nora (Spears) Blakley.
Donnie was a graduate from John Marshall High School in Indianapolis and recently retired from Rolls Royce, where he was a Tool & Die maker. Donnie was a member of the UAW # 933.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 40 years, Melanie (Faulkner) Blakley who he married on Sept. 12, 1972; son, Jason Blakley of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Savanna Blakley of Greenfield; brother, Carlos Blakley of Indianapolis; sister, Betty Embry of Indianapolis.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Sherman, Danny and Charlie Blakley; and sister, Glenda Kane.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013, at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140, with burial following in Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday Feb. 18, 2013, at the funeral Home.
