Daniel Joe Burkholder, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away Jan. 28, 2013, at his residence.
His family came to live at Pendleton in the early 1950’s as his father worked for General Motors Guide Lamp Division in Anderson. Daniel was born at the Anderson Hospital on Aug. 8, 1957, and grew up in Pendleton. He and all his brothers and sister went to Pendleton schools.
He was employed as an Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Technician at Jett Pro Corporation in Indianapolis. Dan was a loving and caring person. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Roy E. Burkholder and Zena R. Hiatt-Burkholder; three brothers, Keith Joel, David Lewis, and Roy Frederick Burkholder; two stepbrothers, Leonard Rex, and Kenneth Wayne Hiatt.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean (Whipple) Burkholder; and a sister, Kathy Jill.
Graveside services took place at 11 a.m., on Thursday Feb. 7, 2013, at Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton with Pastor Doug Walker officiating.
