James F. Grzanich, 74, passed away on Feb. 3, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield.  Born on July 22, 1938, in Canton, Ill., and he was the son of Frank George and Agnes Helen (Almasie) Grzanich.

James graduated from high school in Farmington, Ill., and attended Bradley University and Spoon River College. James married Marcia Joy Fulton on March 22, 1963, and worked as a real estate broker for 20 years and at International Harvester for 30 years. He was a member of Greenfield Conservation Club and a 50 year member of the Farmington Moose Club.  He attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield.

Surviving him are his daughters, Jaimie Lynn (Mark) Schock of Morristown, Joy Louise (Ralph) Sellman of Illinois, and Janell Agnes (Jeff) Jones of Greenfield; grandchildren, Ronnie, Nicholas, Stephen, and Rebekah; and sister, Joanne Grzanich of Canton, Ill.

Preceding him in death were his wife; and parents; and sister, Jane Grzanich.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield, with a rosary service taking place at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Father William Stumpf will be officiating and burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
