Mrs. Rosemary “Rose” Rasnick, 63, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice. She was born March 14, 1949, in Greenfield to the late John & Helen (Preston) Devitt.

She attended Greenfield High School, was a homemaker, member of the Greenfield Church of God, retired from Southwestern Bell and later worked at J.B. Stephens Elementary School as a custodian. Rose enjoyed playing BINGO, reading, traveling, bowling, spending time with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Rasnick, whom she married on May 8, 1965; sons, Jimmy (Julie Alarcon) Rasnick of Lexington, Ky., Billy Jack Rasnick of Shelbyville, Anthony Devitt of Greenfield; brother, Frank Devitt of Greenfield; sisters, Judy (Curtis) Sexton of Greenfield, Barb (Les) Andis of Greenfield; grandchildren, Shane, Sara, Mariah, Shelbi, Abby, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jackie Devitt; and a sister, Laura Morris.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.  Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday Feb. 7, 2013 at the Greenfield Church of God.  Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
