James Alan Buckley, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away on Jan. 19, 2013, in Indianapolis. Born on March 29, 1955, in Greenfield, he was the son of James Franklin and Josephine Wilson Buckley.

James graduated from Knightstown High School in 1973, and worked as an auto body technician at Inskeep Ford in Greenfield. His previous employment was at Dellen and Ralph Hockett in Greenfield. James was a member of the NRA who loved fishing, hunting, and camping.

Surviving him are his wife, Chris Buckley of Indianapolis; son, Jared (Stacy) Buckley of Greenfield; grandchildren, Addison and Dexter Buckley; mother, Jo Buckley of Knightstown; sister, Christine (Dan) Clevenger of Knightstown; niece and nephew, Brad and Manda Clevenger; and two dogs, Lucy and Sparky.

Preceding him in death was his father, Jim Buckley.

Visitation will be from 4 -8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.  Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the mortuary. Pastor Randy Gross will be officiating and burial will take place at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
