Cheryl Sue Norris, 67, Lapel, died on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on May 17, 1945, in Anderson, to Everett and Lorene (Rich) Coverdale.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James E. "John" Norris; daughter, Kim (Jeff) Mackey of Lapel; granddaughter, Whitney Mackey of Lapel; sister, Jane Alyne of McCordsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323, 9th and John Streets, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Madison County Humane Society.
The family would like to thank her co-workers, Teresa, Susan, and Bonnie and her friend Lavonne for their continued support.
