Lois Stewart, 94, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Golden Living Center Brandywine, Greenfield. She was born May 4, 1918, in Mohawk, to the late Oliver E. & Clara E. (Alford) Whitaker.
Lois owned and operated her own beauty shop and also was the staff beautician for 38 years at Pasco Memorial Mortuary. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Greenfield.
She is survived by her son, Art (Sara) Whitaker of Fortville; daughters, Linda (Bill) Couch of Greenfield, Donna (Richard) Jack of Greenfield; stepson, Charles Stewart of Bargersville, Ind.; stepdaughter, Susie Pulman; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in by her husband, Harry F. (Dutch) Stewart in 1997; son, Sonny Ferguson; daughter, Sharon Wildman; grandsons, Mike Eaks, Dale Lay; great-grandson, Brandon Couch; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
