Louis Gerald (Jerry) DelFiandra, 84, of Greenfield, passed away Friday Dec. 21, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 11, 1928, in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Louis R. DelFiandra and Gladys (Grafton) DelFiandra.
Jerry graduated from Steubenville High School in 1946, and from Miami University, Oxford Ohio. He served in Marine Corps for six years and spent two years in China. Jerry’s passion was music and he played horn in numerous musical groups around Indianapolis and Hancock County. He also loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife, of 59 years, De King DelFiandra; and his grandson, Michael Louis DelFiandra, Wellington, Fla.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; and by his daughter, Toni DelFiandra.
There will be a private graveside service at Park Cemetery.
